First Year and First Day

What’s new? Many things at West Georgia Eye Care Center! We are now seeing patients at our new West Georgia Eye Care North office! We look forward to seeing you there for appointments with Dr. Brooks, Dr. Nix, and new optometrist Dr. Patrick Stow! In addition, our dermatology providers under Dr. Tammy McLean at McLean Dermatology are ready to meet all of your skin-care needs. Dr. McLean offers dermatology treatment for all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, with a special emphasis on skin cancer treatment. You can find both West Georgia Eye Care North and McLean Dermatology at 6600 Whittlesey Boulevard, directly across the street from the Acura and BMW dealerships.
Meanwhile, Dr. Sussenbach is celebrating his first-year anniversary with West Georgia Eye Care Center! He can still be found at our main location, 2616 Warm Springs Road. It has been a blessed year for him and his lovely wife, Christy, and their nine-month-old son, Nathan. Dr. Sussenbach says he is glad he chose to settle in his hometown of Columbus, and his dedication shows. Last week, he ran in the Country’s Midnight Express to raise funds for the visually impaired, and this week he spoke to the diabetic support group at Heath Matters of St. Francis.
Our new optometrist, Dr. Stow, says that West Georgia Eye Care North is already beginning to feel more like home. He is settling in and enjoying his new state-of-the-art equipment. September 1, yesterday, he celebrated his very first day of seeing patients, assisted by his tech, Rachel Brown. They’re ready to see you, too!

Casey Geringer, D.O., comprehensive ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist, located at the main office (2616 Warm Springs Road, Columbus).
Steven Henslee, M.D., comprehensive ophthalmologist, located at the midtown office (2012 10th Avenue, Columbus).
