A Personal Valentine for Our Patients

Giving a personal Valentine is a very special way to show that you care and it is wonderful that we devote one day a year to expressing our love in this way! It seems fitting to write a first-person account for this holiday message to let our patients know that they are loved! I have been employed at West Georgia Eye Care Center for over 17 years. In that time, I have been blessed to meet thousands of our patients. Many of you have become my friends and my extended family. Playing a small role in making your visit the best it can be is the most rewarding part of my job and one of the ways I show my love for you!
You’re Like Family –
I appreciate each of you and your trust in our physicians at West Georgia Eye Care Center. I often share with you that these doctors provide eye care for me, my mom, husband, son and my BFF, too! I have heard our doctors discuss particular treatments that they are considering for a patient and they remark on how they consider if it is what they would choose if it were their own family member. I can’t think of a more trustworthy compass for making treatment decisions. Treating you like family is one of the sincere ways that we show our love for you!
An Unseen Gift –
I understand how important it is to have faith that God has led you to the best place for your health care. I pray over decisions for my own health choices and I pray over yours, too. Prayer is a gift we can give one another and I am happy to pray for you! Our surgeons pray for you, too. One of our surgeons arrives at work earlier than almost anyone and spends the first part of his morning in prayer. Praying for you and for your eye health is an unseen but very important way that we show our love for you!
Happy Valentine’s Day –
I wish that I could give each of you a paper heart that you could put on your refrigerator as a reminder of our love. With three locations and thousands of beloved patients, that task would be almost impossible. Someone would surely be left out and I want to include all of you in this Valentine wish. So, instead, my prayer will be that God will bless your day (each and every patient of WGECC), in some special way, so that you remember that you are loved!
