Bread Pudding, Prayers & Virtual Reality

Just how it is with Family…

Who is baking the bread pudding and who is making the cranberry sauce for Christmas!? Whose house are we invading for our celebration?!   Our families need and want to know all of the details of our Christmas plans and parties.  At West Georgia Eye Care Center, our staff and our patients really are our extended family.  We hope that you feel that connection with us, too.  We care for your vision and we care for you.  Like many families, Christmas is that time of year when our doctors and staff spend good fellowship time together.   In light of this, we thought you might like a glimpse into how we celebrate our annual Christmas event.

The most wonderful time of the year…

The Columbus Country Club has been the venue for our party for many years – one of the few places in town that can handle our crowd!  This year we filled the Ball Room with 16 tables for over 130 people!  We feasted on a wonderful buffet and the CCC’s signature bread pudding.  Our administrator, Mr. Mark Holloway, is our master of ceremonies.  We open with a prayer, and you, our patients, are always included!

and escaping the day to day…

Every party has special moments.  Last year we were given a glimpse into the plans for our expansion.  Now, a year later, we are able to celebrate being in our beautiful Whittlesey Blvd. North Satellite Office and our Midtown location.  So, our New Year is looking bright, filled with plans to serve our patients even better in 2017! (check back in the coming weeks to see our new plans and products for 2017)  We enjoy spending time with our doctors and colleagues in a holiday setting.  It is also our chance to show appreciation to our doctors.  We present them with gifts from all of the collective staff – this year each of them received a Virtual Reality Headset!  We hope they take a moment to enjoy an escape from the day to day, returning refreshed to continue to provide the best eye care in Columbus!

Merry Christmas!
