Instantly Ageless: Product Trial

Like Ponce de Leon and his quest to find the mythologically-shrouded fountain of youth, many people are on the hunt for an answer to “forever-youngness.” Can the effects of aging be delayed? Slowed? Reversed, even?

Cosmetic companies have had a marketing heyday  promoting “anti-aging” products. While some of these are legitimately helpful in reducing the appearance of wrinkles and lines and bags, some are all hype. A few weeks ago, a video for “Instantly Ageless,” a Canadian-manufactured anti-wrinkle cream, went viral. Touted for its semi-miraculous effect on under-eye bags, the cream is said to be “Botox without needles.” According to the product description, Instantly Ageless cream “visibly diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, erases the appearance of dark circles and puffiness under the eyes…mattes skin for a flawless finish, and restores skin to optimum appearance.” Hefty promises, and all in just 2 minutes!

See the video here, and then read on to see if this REALLY works:

Intriguing, right? Is this for real? The question is, does it actually last?

The only way to know for sure is to try it out ourselves! One particularly brave soul ordered a trial vial and did a demo just for you!

With a dab of Instantly Ageless in hand, we tested a region beneath the left eye. The cream, a surprising shade of pink, caused no small amount of tingle. It certainly felt like it was working! Within 2 minutes, the appearance of the skin around the left eye was smoother and tighter than the right eye region. It was a dramatic-enough difference for other people in the office to tell which one got the miracle cream!

However, it was not meant to last. By the next day, the left eye looked exactly the same as before we applied the Instantly Ageless. Cinderella-like, the magic had an expiration date! Much like the lore surrounding the fountain of youth, a product promising immediate gravity rewind is just a little too good to be true.

If you want a little under-eye boost for a few hours, definitely give it a go. However, if you have significant under-eye bags or droopiness, you’ll need more than Instantly Ageless cream. Come to our office and get a consultation with our oculoplastic specialist, Dr. Sterling Cannon.
